Homoeopathy is an internationally accepted system of medicine and is being practiced in Indian for more than 156 years. It was officially accepted by Govt. of India in 1973. It was decided that the Indian system of Medicine including Homoeopathy should contribute towards the development of National Homoeopathy service in the country. Homoeopathy system of medicine along with the Indian system of medicine works maximum on top priority basis in changing the national goal of Health for all and for better services to the suffering humanity, regular & whole teaching institution have been recognized aided & helped by the Govt. of India one such institution is MaharshiMenhi Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital Katihar (Bihar). This college is located in the east of the town, the non-violent & silent zone of the Katihar. It is one of the most sophisticated & well-equipped medical institution. The objects of the institution is to prove and to propagate education & research in the field of Homoeopathy, and to collect & disseminate in such fields effective ideas, methods techniques & information as are likely to promote Homoeopathic sciences & treatment in India. The institution offers the course of B.H.M.S. the facilities & the standard of technique & in job are same equivalent to M.B.B.S. The college comprises 25 beds in I.P.D. to accommodate the needy patients, who is being treated at different O.P.D.’s working at different places of the college in rural and urban areas to serve the suffering humanity from all walks of life. The college has also a well equipped laboratory & a rich library with precious books and adjacent reading room. M.M.H.
